Drosera aliciae is widespread in the Cape
D. admirabilis (left) vs D. aliciae (right). The base of the scape of D. admirabilis is only slightly ascending (curved) while that of D. aliciae is strongly ascending. The stigmata of D. admirabilis are knob shaped on styles divided only once at the base, while D. aliciae has filiform stigmata on branched styles
A hybrid between D. glabripes and D. aliciae. This hybrid was described as D. × corinthiaca but the type specimen is actually a hybrid between D. glabripes and D. curviscapa
D. aliciae can be easily distinguished from D. admirabilis by it's infloresence which is strongly ascending (curved) at the base.
Drosera aliciae needs a closer look- the large amount of variation across its distribution is likely underestimated species diversity rather than phenotypic variation
